I also did my part for exports of gourmet Granite Belt products by introducing Americans to the delights of pancakes with fresh soft cheese and blackberry chilli jam (from Glen Alpin). Delicious!
Where is this 'Glen Alpin'? Obviously nowhere near Glen Aplin, else it would be too confusing. Their fruit conserves do indeed appear to be export quality - their presence in San Francisco no doubt solely attributable to the sterling efforts of Queensland's new Trade Commissioner to the California Republic, Peter Whatsisname.
Oh - so you did find room in your bags for the jams. Did you regale your lovely lady with stories of your epic hikes and fairy light Scrabble to complete the story of the fancy jam?

Argh! It is only my tendency to incorrectly spell queensland placenames that is keeping me from old pete's salary, clearly.
