This Saturday, we went over to my companion's old neighbourhood to visit the farmers' markets there. There were almost no berries left, but plenty of stonefruit, and some enormous ruby red tomatoes. I am on salad duty for the next few days, having insisted that we buy a big bag of mixed greens.
