I liked Pittsburgh more than I thought I would. All these sturdy buildings have been weathered by the long economic downturn, but most maintain their brickbound charm. We saw plenty of churches that were now restaurants, and fire houses that were now breweries. The impressive factory in the distance on the second shot is being turned into loft apartments.
