With some muttering, I managed to get myself out of bed and out of the house before 7am on a Saturday morning, so I could meet some friends at the markets. These markets were much bigger than the small street versions I'd grown used to in San Francisco, and they featured an appealing range of proper fruits. In a nod to SF, I did find a stall where I could buy myself a quesadilla for breakfast.
