I saw many fabulous creatures on the weekend...a big black snake who slithered rapidly in the other direction, two new england honeyeaters dipping their beaks in the water, a little grey bird who caught a moth in mid-flight... but this yellow fellow in the first picture was my favourite.

i guess you might. i also have been out botanizing. not very floral, i was attired in professional blue. i's orchidizing actually, and hunting devil dens. i saw a tiger orchid .7m tall & muk nearly stepped on a sleepy tiger snake. there was gnat orchids, milkmaids, a parson-in-a-pulpit and a rare species of black-eyed susan. the old dawg came too and is still recovering from her exhaustion. i havent loked at any of the photos yet but if there are any good uns i'l email to you. xx
