On Friday, I had my first morning as a volunteer gardener on Alcatraz. No pictures, because I was too busy pulling up weeds and admiring the view, but I'll be going back soon. Saturday and Sunday were very relaxed, and featured considerable amounts of sitting around in the park. I focussed on the picnic component, while others concentrated on their knitting.
